Gasless Fees Now Possible with TON’s W5 Smart Wallet

The W5 smart wallet, launched by the TON Core team in collaboration with Tonkeeper, introduces gasless transactions on The Open Network (TON) blockchain.

This new standard allows users to use Tether (USDT) for gas fees for USDT transfers and Notcoin for Notcoin transfers, eliminating the need for Toncoin.

The W5 smart wallet aims to enhance user experience and accessibility by enabling up to 255 simultaneous transactions.

Currently live in Tonkeeper, it will soon expand to TON Space and MyTonWallet.

TON has become the 10th-largest blockchain in total value locked (TVL), surpassing $760 million.

Additionally, the TON Foundation has introduced a secure Bitcoin bridge to facilitate BTC transfers to TON, reinforcing its goal of being a “blockchain of blockchains.”
