Tashiro’s salary and taxes will be calculated in Japanese yen, after which the equivalent amount in Bitcoin will be purchased and sent to his designated wallet.

Since taking the CEO role in June, Tashiro has stated that Bitcoin will be central to the company’s financial strategy, signaling a broader shift toward crypto-focused treasury management.

As of mid-June, Remixpoint already held over $116 million in crypto assets, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), XRP, and DOGE.

Tashiro also serves on the management team of BITPoint, a Japanese crypto exchange affiliated with SBI Group, known for promoting various tokens, including a Trump-themed memecoin.

Remixpoint’s move follows examples like Argo Blockchain’s former CEO and NFL player Russell Okung receiving pay in Bitcoin.
