Analysts have raised the approval odds for several crypto exchange-traded funds (ETFs), predicting a 95% chance that Solana (SOL), XRP, and Litecoin (LTC) spot ETFs will be approved by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in 2025.
Bloomberg ETF analysts Eric Balchunas and James Seyffart expect a wave of new ETF approvals in the second half of the year, with decisions on the SOL, XRP, and LTC ETFs expected by October.

A crypto basket ETF could gain approval even sooner, potentially within the week.
Analysts also gave a 90% approval likelihood for altcoin ETFs tied to Dogecoin (DOGE), Cardano (ADA), Polkadot (DOT), Hedera (HBAR), and Avalanche (AVAX).
However, applications for Sui (SUI) and Tron (TRX) ETFs by Canary Capital received lower odds, at 60% and 50%, respectively.
Meanwhile, the REX Osprey Solana Staking ETF is set to launch this Wednesday, becoming the first staking-based crypto ETF in the U.S.

To secure approval, issuers agreed to allocate at least 40% of fund assets into other exchange-traded products, mostly non-U.S. based.
Separately, the SEC delayed decisions on both the Bitwise spot Ether ETF staking component and the Osprey Bitcoin Trust, showing continued regulatory caution.
