Nexera, a blockchain infrastructure protocol specializing in tokenization, suffered a $1.8 million exploit, as reported by crypto security firm Cyvers.

The company, formerly known as AllianceBlock, announced it is investigating the breach.

Following the incident, Nexera paused the NXRA token contract and halted trading on decentralized exchanges, also coordinating with centralized exchanges to suspend trading.

The NXRA token dropped 40% to $0.036 after the exploit, according to CoinMarketCap.

Blockchain investigator ZachXBT revealed on Telegram that the attacker is linked to multiple incidents involving compromised private keys, affecting projects like SpaceCatch and OKX DEX.

Data from Zapper shows the attacker holds 32.5 million NXRA tokens worth $1.23 million and $555,000 in USDT stablecoin.
